2019 AQHA Red Roan Mare

"Lux"

I’ve owned her since she was a 2yo, gave her a solid start and she’s been with me on many of my adventures since. She’s seen all aspects of ranch work. She’s kept me mounted while day working, I’ve hauled her around a ton. Travels well, is mannerly and gets along with other horses. We’ve branded - head/heel, snag and drag, entered ranch rodeos and ropings. ⁣

She’s lived in cow camp and has punched cows through the timber & mountains. She is confident doing a job with only the company of her rider. Her big stride is a dream to ride and is exceptionally sure footed in rough country. ⁣

You can dress her up.. and take her out! ⁣🌟

She’s a beautiful mover in the arena and has the body control and mental capacity to execute advanced maneuvers, giving her endless performance horse potential. ⁣

She’s happy to dig in the trenches or go for a Sunday stroll. Adapts well to different people and environments. ⁣

Lux is going to mature into an incredibly strong & beautiful mare, her self awareness and natural preservation keeps her out of trouble. However, if breeding her one day were your only option, she’d be worth having just for that. Great papers, colour, mind and body soundness.⁣

I’m a big fan and very proud of this girl.⁣
